Allow me to share with you my experience at Katy Perry’s California Dreams Tour. I had so much fun that I had to share it with you!

I’m wearing something comfortable. It’s a must that you wear comfy clothes to a concert! That’s tip number one when it comes to dressing up during concerts. You don’t want to end up uneasy while the crowd goes wild.

We waited for around two hours before the show started. I don’t really know what happened. Does anyone know why? Share? :)
Anyway, it was worth the wait and Katy Perry definitely saved the best for last! FYI, our country’s her last stop for her tour (which started February of last year) and we were privileged to be even included on her list.
I loved everything about her concert! She started off with this short movie flick which went all through out her concert. Three words to give you an idea as to what the flick was about- fairy tale, candy land, and Kitty! Her pegs!

The stage was filled with life-size candy stuffs!

Her first song was Teenage Dream, if I remember it right.
Are you wondering what she’s saying here? Well, this one I can remember clearly. She said, “Did I saved the best for last?” She definitely did for the record!

The theme of my outfit for her concert was, Peacock. It wasn’t so obvious, was it? Haha! Kidding! I wanted to wear something that would scream Katy Perry! Who would forget her Peacock? I mean her song, silly me. :)

Can you see the two bunny girls? Kitty was a star at her concert too. See?

She’s singing peacock here.

Pink, blue and high waist shorts screams Katy Perry. Though I really love wearing high waist pieces. :)

Soooo, this one’s the very controversial Ivan Dorschner-going up the stage- topless-kissing Katy Perry! The crowd went wild thus, blurry photo! Haha! She asked a guy to come up the stage. The first guy to remove his shirt can come up and kiss her. The first guy who removed his shirt was 12 years old! Haha! Then 16! Those youngsters! Then there went Ivan, as you can see. :)

Shorts like this can make your legs look longer! Look for fab shorts like this one at Jellybean. I love their shorts! Plus, they always come in high waist! I just love high waist pieces, super!

The crowd definitely had fun!

She ended the concert wearing a blue wig. It was funny how the movie flick ended as she finds a wig at the very heart of candy land and wears it while reading a line that says, “To find the love that’s true. You should wear a wig that’s blue”. What is cute?

So, that’s it! Hope you had fun as well as I did! Sorry for making it very lengthy, I got too excited recalling everything. Thank you for your time! :)
Okay, this is not an outfit post related to Winnie the Pooh or something. I just thought of “Hundred Acre Woods” because, first, we were to attend a seminar prepared by the Alumni, maybe that could explain the ‘hundred’ part and second my outfit is comprised of somewhat ‘wood’ colors-beige, mustard and brown.
Don’t be surprised with the number of photos, I just can’t choose. They were all wonderful! Please forgive me. :)

Pearls would always spell decency and glam, well that is for me. :)

You just have to admit it, you are a queen. You are a ‘Queen’ because you reign over yourself and you manage to improve your kingdom, which is your mind, body and heart. So, I’m proud to say I’m a queen.

Laser cut details on my skirt.

White will probably the most versatile color, you can pair it with anything, absolutely anything! But you just have to remember that with whichever color you pair it, looks will vary. In my case, I chose to pair it with beige to come up with a polished and decent look. I also chose colors near the palette of beige so that the look won’t be too striking. Remember that you should always consider what and where you will wear your outfit. Hope you get to like this look. :)
PS. Credits to my sweet friend, Shiela for coming up with the most ravishing photos! I just can’t choose, she made great shots.
I’m striking back in stripes! This time I’m even more excited to blog! I hope you guys won’t get tired of reading these stuffs because I’m making each one lovely in my own little way here in my own little blog. Please don’t ever get tired of reading. :)

When you feel lazy but then you want to look fab in a snap, grab one of your striped dresses or tops.

Stylish as it is on its own, it is a must that you add minimal accessories so as not to congest the look.

Topped it off with a white feather necklace. For me it complements my dress and does not make a mess out of it. Do you agree? :)

Bag from Cole Vintage
If you can notice here, my clutch has the same color with the stripes on my dress. They make so much connection and I love it!

Dress from SM Department Store, Betty
Foot wear from Rusty Lopez
As they say, you can never go wrong with a striped dress.
Hope you had fun reading!
This is what I wore to a day full of meanings. For the last of my “Holiday Hoorah”, my sweetie and I went on a date at Tagaytay. Just a day to enjoy the view, eat some lunch and of course enjoy each other’s company. And for the rest of the day? It’s a series of fortunate events. :)

I had the look inspired from my favorite American drama series icon, Blair Waldorf. I just miss the preppy looks from season 1! So I did not think twice of reviving those looks. Plus, those cardigans can be really useful with Tagaytay’s chilly winds. :)

I just love being preppy! Preppy is actually defined as someone who favors clothing style associated with traditional preparatory schools. SO, kids were the real inspiration OR should I say people’s ambition to stay young, longer? Makes sense, right? :)

Bow tie from Jellybean

Inner top, Folded and Hung / Bag from Bayo / Cardigan and skirt from 168 mall

I actually had a great time putting up this look. Well, I guess I also had a great time in it as I spend a looong day with a pocket full of sunshine!

DIY glitter shoes. I really used it immediately after its make over!
Photos taken by my sweetie. I must say I love his shots! He is more patient with photo ops now. :)
It’s a new year and it’s time for new set of chances and dreams! So, I decided to give my blog a fresh twist by changing the title from Style Diary to Chasing Runways. I wanted “Chasing Runways” because it lives by my favorite quote, “Everyday is your runway” and it will showcase all my “Dress to kill moments”. I just wanted to change it to something more fearless and identifiable. Something that will make you remember me. I hope you guys help my chase dreams! Thank you for humbly reading my blog! :)
Are you ready to sail?
I’m all nautical and preppy for this get-up. This cardigan has been the inspiration for the whole look, and you will see why as we go along the way. Shall we?

I just love pairing red with blue! I just think that the two looks so, Ahoy! Shall I say. (Sorry for the sailor-y words! I can’t help it!)

This cardigan, which I was saying, was the inspiration for everything. When I first saw it at Bayo, I told myself that I should get a hold of it. And that I can wear it all over again! I just fell in love with it!
When I went Christmas shopping, this was the last one on the rack and almost every branch had it sold out. So I got too excited to pay for it at the counter! Haha. I think I just made an imprint on it! Haha! Kidds!

See the nautical details? I just love anchors. :)

Cardigan from Bayo

Bag from Bayo
Next up is this satchel. I think I also made an imprint on it! Haha! I can pair it with any outfit and it is just so sleek and chic!
Well, I think this one is important when we buying an item: Think of the many times you can use that item. (If you can imagine pulling it off on anything, then go!) This may give you a hint whether or not it’s worth the money!

Pants from Pink, this one’s my favorite pants :)
(Pink has branches at The Ramp and also at Greenhills)

Ring from Claire Voix
Since I was in a very bright match-up, I went less with accessories. As you can see, I’m wearing only this ring BUT it already speaks for itself.

Shoes from Celine
I just love buying shoes from Celine! It’s style and comfort all in one!

I started with a question, so I’ll also end in one:
So, how far will you go? :)
So, this is what I came up during Christmas day. I know it’s kind of late, but better late than never! :)
I love dressing up for the holiday season! It is when the weather gets a bit chilly, meaning we can wear longer lengths. Unfortunately, this year’s holiday wasn’t all that cold. BUT nights were still longer any way, so parties can be worked up longer! Haha!

(This is me trying a super woman pose because of my cape. I look goofy here. Haha!) For our family dinner, I’ve worn a monochromatic ensemble. I wanted a “White Christmas” theme that’s why. I just like putting up themes every time I wear clothes. It makes everything more fun and enjoyable! As if I will be in a role play. Haha! Just kidding. :)

“Moon dust in my hair”
Yes, this is the reason for the title. The beanie. I had it hand made by, yours truly, years ago. I haven’t worn it that much yet, so I gave it a chance this Holiday season. :)

I went light on accessories because I wanted to be more relaxed. I just love this owl earring which was a gift from my friend. I love it so much that I wore it right away!

To give life to my monochromatic ensemble, I used a pop of blue to my outfit so that it won’t look too dull.

This was also a gift I received this Christmas. :)

To add that Christmas-y feel, I’ve worn this “boots with the fur” over my floral printed Kate Torralba x City Lady stockings.

Cape from Maldita, Shorts bought from Greenhills

I had so much fun this year’s Christmas. I hope you all had a wonderful time too! :)
Upper East Side was my theme for the day! It was actually a mixture of Lauren Conrad and Serena Van der Woodsen. This is what I wore when my sweetie and I went out for a date. We just actually bought gifts for our dearest loved ones, so I went for a laid back look. :)

The formula: Loose polo + A-line skirts + Brogues
Polo from Pink, skirt from People are People

Serena-inspired earrings. I just love how this earrings make so much statement!
Earrings from Chick Flick, visit their site at multiply!

Cute owl ring from Tomato

Bag from Polo

Brogues from Tonic at The Ramp

The whole look, hope you like it!
Keep calm and sip some coffee! <3
I’m back after a Holiday hoorah! I have so much outfit blogs in store for you all, and I’m so excited to show it all! Been busy over the Holidays so it will be a late update. BUT! I’ll make sure it will be worth the wait for you guys, don’t you worry. I don’t want to bore you with lame blogs. :)
I’ll be showing you for the meantime my first ever DIY glitter shoes:
After showering all my saved up allowances to buying gifts and stuffs, I decided to do a practical deed. I turned my “Cinderella” shoes into a princess! (Maid, then princess? Get it?) :)
My Mendrez ballet flats still fits really well. It’s still good to go, but the only problem is that its shiny covering peels off even though I haven’t used it that much yet. So I used it as my subject. :)

Then with the help of my magical brush wand and some helpers:
Silver glitters, Elmer’s glue, Nail polishes in natural and glitter
First, I peeled the gold shoe covering. Afterwards, I brushed some glue on the outside of my shoes and then sprinkled some glitters, until its thick enough to cover everything. Let it dry over night, then, finally added some natural nail polishes for the finishing touches. I actually just experimented with the nail polishes because I wanted to prevent to glitters from falling off. Fortunately it worked big time! :D

The outcome: A pretty glittered ballet flats! It really turned into a princess-y shoes right? Haha. Though I must say it looks better in person. :D

DIY glitter shoes, practical and magical! :)
The title of this post should have been “Boyfriend’s Tough Choice”. But then I’ve changed it, people might get a different meaning from it. Haha!
Honestly, this look was kind of “suggested”. My guy had the top and the pants as a present on our third anniversary. He said he wanted me to look simpler in jeans. If you know me, I really am not simple, I am always seeking to be different. I don’t wear denim pants that much. But then he was just suggesting, haha! I’ve worn this on his birthday, because it’s his suggestion anyway, why not please his eyes right? :)
Plus he asked me a favor to watch his game for his big day. We were pretty much in the muddy field so I really had to stick to this get-up.

Pants from Promod
I just found the perfect pair of jeans! Although it’s a size smaller than mine, it made a perfect fit, see? I’ve read in one of InStyle’s fashion tips, “When in doubt, go with the smaller size in jeans. They always stretch and nothing’s more unflattering than the unintentionally baggy derriere.”

Orange feather earrings to complement my mustard top.

I’ve also chosen “tough” looking accessories.
Cheetah bag from Hong Kong. Watch from Tomato

Belt from Kashieca
As you can see, these are two belts in one. Yes, they are one. :)

Boots from my Uncle which he bought in the states. It wasn’t looking that messy before I got in the field. :(

Country girl look/Cowgirl look? Haha!
Had to be thankful because my sweetie has good taste. This wouldn’t work out if not for that. :)

Top from Topshop
Photos taken by my dear friend, Kitz Manlangit. (Yeah, she’s behind those great shots!)
Hope you like it! :)
It’s that wonderful time of the year again for us Thomasians! It is when the campus gets well lighted with beautiful Christmas lights, of which changes its theme every year. It’s not only the ambiance that marks this joyful season, we also have this sort of University Christmas party, and we call it “Paskuhan”. Everybody gathers from different colleges. Other Universities gets to join as well with their friends.

Students look forward to this event every year. We not only prepare for reunions, Christmas parties and exchange gifts, but we also prepare for what to wear! As for me, I go for something that is “dress to kill”. HAHA! Just kidding! My friends used to tease me with this line, so I already got used to it. After all real friends stab you in the front. :)

Off to my outfit! I am wearing a Camille Co/Serena Van der Woodsen inspired get up.
Top from Pink

I’m so loving this ring! It looks very elegant right? But I got it in a very cheap price at 168 mall. They have huge varieties of accessories of which any girl will go gaga over. Haha!

Necklace with light pink beads from Forever 21
Watch from Tomato

Bag from my aunt.

Trousers from Tomato
I really adore pieces from Tomato, plus their items get to be in a very reasonable price! I fell deeply for this trousers! It’s very elegant and classy.

The whole look. Hope you get to like it guys! :)

To give you a glimpse of the celebration, here’s a firework display. Fireworks end the celebration with a bang! :)
Now, it’s time to be edgy. I practice versatility when it comes to styling. I usually play from one style to another. It is like exploring the world, looking for places where you could fit best.

Edgy is usually described with the words, punk rock and fierce. Dark colors, graphic tees and unexpected shocks of colors define this style. I learned all of this from Candy style guide, it’s really every girl’s best friend. You should grab a copy now!

OMG Graphic tee, Scrunch
I bet you’ll love their graphic tees! Their designs are unique and would really make a statement. PLUS! It is very affordable. Their statement tops are to watch out for!

Bag from LULU

Black accessories plus a shock of red.

Blue and red spiced up my edgy outfit. Plus, the red lips. Your lips are also your best accessory and you should always flaunt it.

Royal blue turban from Yhansy

I had this skirt altered to fit. It was from A-line to pencil cut.

Shoes, So Fab
I must credit my style inspiration for this outfit, Ms. Camille Co. I just love how she comes up with her looks, everything is to watch out for.
I went all out for a classic, laid back look for a movie date with my cousins. I actually wanted to wear something that is comfortable and not over the top. So, I wore something simple but classically noticeable.

For classic looks, I love putting up neutral colors like black and white. What made this look more crisp and chic is the shimmery beaded black dress, which I’ve worn as a top. Shimmery clothes are making a come back again. These definitely give a pop in whichever look you’re in.

I also went minimal on accesories. I’ve chosen this black/silver necklace that blends in with my shimmery top.

Bag from Aldo

I like wearing simple make-up. I believe that girls look more beautiful when they look as simple and as natural as they could. Although I make sure that my lips look fab with the perfect color.
I’ve used Five for Five NYX soft matte lip cream in Tokyo over Maybelline watershine pure of the same shade for pretty lips.

Black and white always bring a crisp look, try putting them up together when you want to look classy and chic.
