Super Lace

Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom bass, suuper lace! Okay, what a corny way to say hi again to all of you guys out there! Sorry for that. :) I know I had post lags for the past few days but its for a very good reason anyway. And now, I’m back for more and this post is like a pilot episode to a new season of style, should I say? Heehee. :)

Well, during those times that I’ve been sparing my blogging times, I didn’t know that there were a few who’s been waiting for more updates on outfit posts. Someone like me appreciates it so much, special shout out to my classmates and friends who pushes me to begin posting MORE again! :) That lighted me up, so I’m all hyped to blog back again. I’ll share the reason for the lags some other time. :) Enough for the blahs and here we go:

The “Super Lace” thing wasn’t all nonsense and conrni-ness! Haha! It kind of defined my whole outfit which was a mixture of laces! (See!) I had this feeling that laces of different type wouldn’t be boring but be very dainty instead.

Bag from Thailand

I went for a very feminine, and collegiate look for another day at the University. (Lace, in any way, answered the feminism part, as always!)

Lace cardigan from  Forever 21  / Tank top from  Bench  / Lace skirt from Thailand

Collar necklace from 168 mall

The collar necklace gave more life to the whole outfit, and imbibed the “collegiate” part of the look. :)

The back view looks so cute right? :)

I kind of have this thing pairing almost all things girly with white.

White, for me, makes the whole look clean and soft, like how cotton appeals to the eyes. Soothing ba. :) As you can see, the combinations were really all things light and almost pale but it doesn’t hurt your eyes in any way. (Well, I hope!)

Floral booties from Jellybean

I have been really excited to update again, and now that I found time, I hope you guys can find time too- browsing my blog! Hope you liked my outfit for today! It has been an outfit inspired by my dearest friends whom I’m going to miss a lot! :)

Mademoiselle

Bonjour everyone! I’m just feeling a little French today, though I already channelled that to my title as you can see. :)

Any way, let me share with you a little of what I wore to a family lunch date we had when my Dad got home. We had a small family gathering together with my sweetie’s mom. I just thought that this outfit would be perfect for an intimate gathering like this, don’t you think? :)

Feeling more like a lady with the whole look I’ve come up. You know how adults react to our generation’s interests and style. They can be a little too critical, so I went for something safe! Just the right amount of sheer! :)

Top from Folded and Hung

Gray sheer skirt from Super Sale Bazaar

Shoes from OutlandWatch fromTomato

I adore vintage looking pieces just like this necklace. I love how it blends perfectly with the color of my skirt.

Pieces with unique back details would always spice up every look!

Pearl and floral bracelet from Forever 21

I had a hard time battling with the sun, it’s just becoming unbearable!

Nonetheless, we have all summer to have fun! Just channel your thoughts to whatever awaits for you this season- Daisy Dukes, Bikinis, Sun-kissed skin, Beaches! Haha! I’m sure these will all make us forget how the heat’s been burning! I hope every one’s having a wonderful summer! Au revoir! :)

At the Ball

Here ye, here ye, her majesty is coming through!

Just kidding guys! That was just to give you a clue what my peg was for our graduation ball. :D

Anyway, the ball had the theme, Oscars. I believe anything goes with it -from old Hollywood, Bollywood to the most modern ones. But it’s up to you what style to choose and how you would want to stand out.

I wanted to give myself some “royal treatment”, so I went with the Princess Diaries auras? Haha! I wanted to sway away (in the mean time) from the very modern looks and wanted to stick to regal and sweet ones. I guess princesses would always look sweet right? Haha!

Dress made by Ms. Barbie (her pen name actually)

I chose peach since this pastel color can be really pleasing to the eye. This color would always appear in the palettes of princess-themed movies. :)

Nails by Beauty and Butter

Some of the accessories I was trying to chose from. There were two sets actually.  It was hard to decide! But in the end I chose the turquoise ones to give contrast to the whole look. I got the A’postrophe studded bracelet, Forever 21 feathered earrings and Forever 21 peach flower ring.

What to put inside my pouch for retouch? Kabuki brush from Landmark, Revlon PhotoReadyFoundation, Mac in Pink Nouveau. Falsies which were gifts from my dear friend Christian.

Pouch from SM Accessories

I went all nude with my shoes and pouch! This colors wouldn’t hurt so much on the whole look I gathered. :)

Nude pumps from People are People

Nude pumps would make your legs appear longer and can definitely go with any outfit! For tonight I was really sure these were the perfect pair to flatter my look. What do you think? :)

The whole look I came up! Hope you like it. :)

Here you can see all the yummy colors I decided to go with. Peach and turquoise! The turquoise earring and bracelet gave contrast and life to nudity of the dress, as well as to the whole look.

Better view of the accessories. :)

This has been a very special night with my friends, classmates, batch mates, especially with my lovey. :)

I had a great time at the ball and I also had a wonderful time sharing it all to you! Hope you had a blast! :)

Think Pink

It’s that wonderful time of the year again for us Thomasians! It is when the campus gets well lighted with beautiful Christmas lights, of which changes its theme every year. It’s not only the ambiance that marks this joyful season, we also have this sort of University Christmas party, and we call it “Paskuhan”. Everybody gathers from different colleges. Other Universities gets to join as well with their friends.

Students look forward to this event every year. We not only prepare for reunions, Christmas parties and exchange gifts, but we also prepare for what to wear! As for me, I go for something that is “dress to kill”. HAHA! Just kidding! My friends used to tease me with this line, so I already got used to it. After all real friends stab you in the front. :)

Off to my outfit! I am wearing a Camille Co/Serena Van der Woodsen inspired get up.

Top from Pink

I’m so loving this ring! It looks very elegant right? But I got it in a very cheap price at 168 mall. They have huge varieties of accessories of which any girl will go gaga over. Haha!

Necklace with light pink beads from Forever 21

Watch from Tomato

Bag from my aunt.

Trousers from Tomato

I really adore pieces from Tomato, plus their items get to be in a very reasonable price! I fell deeply for this trousers! It’s very elegant and classy.

The whole look. Hope you get to like it guys! :)

To give you a glimpse of the celebration, here’s a firework display. Fireworks end the celebration with a bang! :)
