Take Me to Candy Wonderland

Presenting to you ze outfit I had at the Candy Style Awards by Candy Mag:

This outfit is all about candy colors, pastels and all things girly and cute! I shall say, that for the record, this one is my favorite outfit, EVER! :D

Being “Candy Girl” appropriate, I kept my look young and vibrant. Since this season caters the most flattering colors, I am taking advantage of them. I don’t mind looking like a walking candy or marshmallow. It’s so cute anyway and I love it! I’d wear my favorite pastels, especially turquoise and pink, every chance I get. I am gaga over it! Heehee. :)

Old rose and mint together, so yummy! Then, I had my clutch and shoes in nude. What else would flatter pastels but nude! Pearls were my only choice for the accessories, ‘cause it always complement girly outfits like wow. Translated into a young girl’s mind, the outfit is = cotton candy in blue and pink color, vanilla ice cream with a white cherry on top! Awww. (Sorry for being so childish. Haha!) :)

Watch from Tomato / Pearl earrings from Thailand / Pearl necklace from 168 mall

Midrib old rose top from Thailand

THIS is what’s so special about this top: The back detail! I just love how chic the big bow was on my outfit. I mean, who wouldn’t notice it, right? When I saw this one way back in Bangkok, I was screaming my heart out to my best friend. I was having love at first sight! Haha!

Mullet hem skirt in mint from ZARA

As with the top, this skirt shares the same story. *Sigh*, love at first sight. I can remember well that I kept seeing this skirt at Singapore. I was ‘almost’ following those girls wearing it. I was in search for it all over! Though I kept my limits from very expensive brands, I didn’t know it would be there: somewhere in those expensive brands! And I found it ACCIDENTALLY at Zara- the leap of joy again! :D

Clutch from Riot

Nude pumps from Syrup x People are People

I think I made a very lengthy post today, I was just so excited with this outfit. Really a favorite of mine. :)

Hope you like my Candylicious outfit today! Have a great day! Toodles!

At the Ball

Here ye, here ye, her majesty is coming through!

Just kidding guys! That was just to give you a clue what my peg was for our graduation ball. :D

Anyway, the ball had the theme, Oscars. I believe anything goes with it -from old Hollywood, Bollywood to the most modern ones. But it’s up to you what style to choose and how you would want to stand out.

I wanted to give myself some “royal treatment”, so I went with the Princess Diaries auras? Haha! I wanted to sway away (in the mean time) from the very modern looks and wanted to stick to regal and sweet ones. I guess princesses would always look sweet right? Haha!

Dress made by Ms. Barbie (her pen name actually)

I chose peach since this pastel color can be really pleasing to the eye. This color would always appear in the palettes of princess-themed movies. :)

Nails by Beauty and Butter

Some of the accessories I was trying to chose from. There were two sets actually.  It was hard to decide! But in the end I chose the turquoise ones to give contrast to the whole look. I got the A’postrophe studded bracelet, Forever 21 feathered earrings and Forever 21 peach flower ring.

What to put inside my pouch for retouch? Kabuki brush from Landmark, Revlon PhotoReadyFoundation, Mac in Pink Nouveau. Falsies which were gifts from my dear friend Christian.

Pouch from SM Accessories

I went all nude with my shoes and pouch! This colors wouldn’t hurt so much on the whole look I gathered. :)

Nude pumps from People are People

Nude pumps would make your legs appear longer and can definitely go with any outfit! For tonight I was really sure these were the perfect pair to flatter my look. What do you think? :)

The whole look I came up! Hope you like it. :)

Here you can see all the yummy colors I decided to go with. Peach and turquoise! The turquoise earring and bracelet gave contrast and life to nudity of the dress, as well as to the whole look.

Better view of the accessories. :)

This has been a very special night with my friends, classmates, batch mates, especially with my lovey. :)

I had a great time at the ball and I also had a wonderful time sharing it all to you! Hope you had a blast! :)

A Cup of Coffee

Upper East Side was my theme for the day! It was actually a mixture of Lauren Conrad and Serena Van der Woodsen. This is what I wore when my sweetie and I went out for a date. We just actually bought gifts for our dearest loved ones, so I went for a laid back look. :)

The formula: Loose polo + A-line skirts + Brogues

Polo from Pink, skirt from People are People

Serena-inspired earrings. I just love how this earrings make so much statement!

Earrings from Chick Flick, visit their site at multiply!

Cute owl ring from Tomato

Bag from Polo

Brogues from Tonic at The Ramp

The whole look, hope you like it!

Keep calm and sip some coffee! <3
