I’m no National Geographic anchor for real, haha! The vibe of my look is pretty much like that of the news anchors. With the beige pants, it was like I was about to have a shoot at the wilds of Africa and the like! My imagination is wild like that. ;)
Any way, as I told you in my previous post, I had post lags because of a reason. The whole new batch of Thomasian nurses are being prepared very much for the upcoming boards. We just had 4 days of comprehensive exams, 4 subjects of a hundred item each, per day. So that summed up to 1500 questions! Well, it’s never easy being a student nurse, and now it’s going to be tougher so I have to balance my time well!

Well, of course, dressing up would not try to leave my subconscious mind. Every now and then I come up with outfits I can wear during our review days to school. Clearly we have to surrender our Summer for the sake of our licenses. BUT! Dressing up will never go on a summer vacay! Haha!

Yoga bottle case from SM Accessories
Just showing you my yoga bottle case I bought from SM, I always have it with me to help me get through the heat! It’s in super cute designs and very fashionable!

Feather necklace from 168 mall
To avoid an over-the-top look, I went for this feather necklace that compliments my top. (You wouldn’t want your professors eyeing on you all the time! Haha!) It doesn’t scream too much attention but instead flatters and blends with my top.

I’m making the most out of my time reminiscing around the campus. We have been together for 8-long years and I must say she has seen every inch of me! How I will terribly miss my Alma Mater. :)

Charm bracelet from Paris
My guy friend went on a European tour over the Holy Week and he had the sweetest pasalubong forus. I just love this charm bracelet. :)

Do I look like the femme version of Kuya Kim, well without the hat? :D

We still have 2 months to go for our board preparation! Wish us the best of luck! I’m itching to take care of new patients and I can’t wait to give my all. :)
My other passion is just under my belt and waiting to have it’s time. For now, I’ll manage my time well to give you lovely outfit posts in the best way I can! Ciao! Hope you guys are enjoying your Summer! :)
It’s back to basics day with some touches of vintage trends and glam!
I decided to go for this very fun and quirky outfit for a date with my best-est girl friends. I wanted to be really comfortable because we have the whole day- literally the whole day, under our belts! :) We went to St. Jude at Malacanang, then to SM North-Trinoma. We purposely went to Forever 21 to shop and we also ended up looking for more. All we did was to dine-shop-shop-shop-dine-dine-shop! Haha! Very typical girl bonding, I know! At the end of the day we really laughed as we lived by the quote, “Shop ‘til you drop”! Yes. Dropped our jaws because we got exhausted! Haha!

A white polo and a black pants would always be basic. It wouldn’t hurt add some touches of vintage trends, such as THE suspenders. To add fun and color to my basic look, I grabbed my red felt hat. It’s a basic, vintage and futuristic combo! :)

Red felt hat from SM Department Store / White polo from Pink

Shoes from Outland / Pants and suspenders from 168 mall
(This mall is just heaven! You won’t believe how their items are so up-to-date! It has a little bit of everything. I’m sure most of you girls would have so much fun shopping your hearts out!)

Feeling a little whimsical as my girl friends, Jana and Kymi, took a photo of me. I was really imagining the old times and I was like in the old movies! I just love relieving those moments! (I’m such a vintage junkie! HAHA!)
Second day outfit for our Singapore trip!
We opted for a city tour on our second day, so I went for a classy look. (Because I knew people there work with class almost everyday! I just have to blend in their sea. Haha!) Match na match lang ang title, right? :D Haha! I just come up with catchy titles whenever I’m too prepared. (Yes, I had this in my mind just before we left! Hahaha!)
I can be really flexible when it comes to styling, as you can see some of my looks can be very sweet, then classy and then a little bit of grudge the next day. That’s just how I want my style to be, like a chameleon, matching different sways! :)
Okay, enough for the blahs and on to my outfit!

I built my look around this very glamorous skirt which is now trending in the fashion industry. Mullet hem skirts are making so much of their way this season, and they are just so fab! Pair it with a simple top, right accessories and you are good to go!

Mullet hem skirt and belt from Pink

To make the look really classy and structured, I paired it with this black turtle neck top. Though I made my research before we left, I failed to check the weather! Boo. I did not expect it to be that HOT in SG. So much tiis ganda for the heat and the top! Haha!

LongChamp Le Pliage bag

Yes, I took advantage of the spot for my outfit shots! Haha! Good thing tourists were not flocking the place yet! ;)

Brown oxford flats at Possibility at The Ramp
I know heels would make so much difference for this look. But knowing that we will be roaming the city and looking for places to shop, I just had to stick with my flats! It’s one of the musts when you travel.

Hope you guys liked my look! :)
This is what I prepared to wear for the second day of our trip to Zambales. Still, my peg was cheetah, need I say more? Haha! I just felt like giving a sequelae to my previous outfit. Plus, nature vibe! :)

You might be thinking why does this girl even wear long sleeves to the beach? I know, I have to ask that myself too. I don’t usually wear long sleeved tops to the beach, however, graduation itself is coming and a ball comes along, so I don’t want a tan yet! Though I chose sheer tops for that breezy vibe, it worked anyway. :)

Tossed off a cheetah printed scarf to give life to my structured BW ensemble.

Well of course, would you miss wearing your favorite sunnies and hats to meet Mr. Sun? I know you wouldn’t! Here I am showing you mine. :) I just love how aviators complement my face, it’s my bff to every get away.

This is what greeted us that morning: A breathtaking view of something which cannot be made by hand but only God’s magic can!

I definitely had a great time with my classmates! Don’t forget to enjoy their companies while you’re still in the walls of your colleges! I know you will cherish that moment every time! Pardon the drama-of-a-graduating-student! Haha! Ciao! :)
Here’s what I wore to a day full of love:
I have been preserving this outfit for the longest time just for this occasion. I do have the habit of preserving clothes for special events and dates. I have tons of outfits all in my mind figured out. When occasions come near, it makes me feel all intensely excited! Haha! :)

So, what would a girl like me wear on Valentines Day?
Something red and lovely, of course. Something that would remind people that this is indeed a special day all for love!

I just wanted everything to be red! This earring is not only red but it also makes sense for this day! Don’t you think? Red lippie just like mine. :D
Earrings from Bangkok

I fell in love with this top the first time I saw it. Who would not? It’s just perfect for this day! Plus, I have a thing for heart-printed tops, so imagine the excitement on my face when I first saw this! Plus the details, it’s so rich!
Top (old) from Pink

Bags like these make everything stylish and sleek! Plus, it’s so lightweight! This would definitely be perfect for dates. Less hassle. You just have to pick carefully what stuffs to bring, such as, for me -phone, camera, powder, blush, lippie and moolah!
Bag from Riot

This brogues will always be a favorite! I can pair it with anything. Its style is very classy.
Shoes from Tonic The Ramp

Hope you like my outfit!
You can share with me your thoughts and even what you had yourself on Valentines Day! G! :)
Okay, this is not an outfit post related to Winnie the Pooh or something. I just thought of “Hundred Acre Woods” because, first, we were to attend a seminar prepared by the Alumni, maybe that could explain the ‘hundred’ part and second my outfit is comprised of somewhat ‘wood’ colors-beige, mustard and brown.
Don’t be surprised with the number of photos, I just can’t choose. They were all wonderful! Please forgive me. :)

Pearls would always spell decency and glam, well that is for me. :)

You just have to admit it, you are a queen. You are a ‘Queen’ because you reign over yourself and you manage to improve your kingdom, which is your mind, body and heart. So, I’m proud to say I’m a queen.

Laser cut details on my skirt.

Top from Pink / Watch from Tomato / Bag from Riot / Shoes from Celine
White will probably the most versatile color, you can pair it with anything, absolutely anything! But you just have to remember that with whichever color you pair it, looks will vary. In my case, I chose to pair it with beige to come up with a polished and decent look. I also chose colors near the palette of beige so that the look won’t be too striking. Remember that you should always consider what and where you will wear your outfit. Hope you get to like this look. :)
PS. Credits to my sweet friend, Shiela for coming up with the most ravishing photos! I just can’t choose, she made great shots.
